About Melton Bid

The Melton Mowbray BID Company Ltd was established in October 2011, after Melton businesses voted in favour of a BID for Melton in June. The BID will last for 5 years and will generate £645,000 for the town centre over the five year period.

The Melton BID is a great opportunity for businesses in Melton to unite together to actively improve Melton Town Centre and to have a greater input into what happens in the town. The BID is a means of generating valuable income for the town centre. It enables local businesses to control how their money is invested to benefit themselves, their employees, their customers and the physical fabric of the town.
